We had purchased Mom and Pop scarecrows to sit on the glider on our covered porch for Halloween through Thanksgiving, but our scarecrow family did not seem complete without a representative for our Labrador Retriever. The scarecrows are almost life-size, so the dog needed to be, too. Most skeleton dogs were too small to represent a 90 pound dog, but this one fit the bill. At 30 inches it is close to scale with the 60 inch scarecrows. (The dog looks bigger in the photo, because it is in the foreground). It is nice quality plastic that will stand up to rain, snow and wind here in the Midwest. Only the head and tail swivel, so it is less posable than some other skeleton dogs, but it is as lifelike as a skeleton can be, and it is a nice size and good quality.
We love our pets and to honor our old furry friends we saw a neighbor with these decorations and decided to get one. I was worried about finding a bigger sized skeleton dog but this one did not disappoint! The material is really great quality and very sturdy, I’m very happy with this purchase!
