Gothic Ghost Plus 16-20 Adult Women Costume

It was a perfect dress for my Halloween photo shoot. I should have sized down though. I bought an XL and it was a little big on me. Otherwise it was great!

This was a fun costume to wear, very dramatic, and a great price. I liked the attached under slip as well. I'm 5'7" and it was VERY long on me, so I had to trim about 8" from the front of the dress so I wouldn't trip. Not difficult to do, as the bottom is raw and jagged in design. It did arrive quite wrinkled, so I sprayed on some "Downy Wrinkle Release" on it, and then tossed in a warm dryer with a damp towel to steam it some. Worked pretty well at getting the large, noticeable wrinkles out of the dress, but the sleeves still had some, but they weren't too noticeable. Based on this material, I would not recommend ironing.

I am 5'9" and have never had something reach all the way to the floor. I have grown accustomed to having items hit ankle height or mid calf. It is comfortable and flows nicely. A little fuller skirt would have been nice, but hey its a costume you wear once a year. Far exceeded my expectations for that need.

UPDATE: From a male perspective this costume was amazing! I'm a Lrg. men's & fortunately did my homework on women's sizes before my order & ordered XL/plus size in women's & the fit was spot on. The material seemed to be fairly well made, as far as a Halloween costume is concerned. I'm going as an undead bride for Halloween, so pics will be coming soon.

I normally wear a 20-22w and was going to order the 22-24 but it sold out. I was really nervous about ordering the smaller size but did it anyhow and I'm so glad I did...it fits perfect! The empire waist is very forgiving and the material is very nice. It's way too long, I'm 5'4", but I'm crafty enough to cut off the bottom and made it look ragged like it's supposed to be. I can't wait for Halloween, this is a costume I can wear again and again by switching accessories. I'm going as bride of Dracula this year, but can be a ghost, Mrs Frankenstein, etc. Love it!!

Great inexpensive Halloween costume. Fit as I expected, normally I wear a 16 or 18. The XL was the perfect size. Only issue was, as others have mentioned it was a little long. As someone who is 5"5' I walked over the skirt more than a few times. I didn't so much mind the skirt dragging on the ground, that added to the effect of the costume. Although it is a little annoying to be tripped by your own clothing. Overall though I was happy with this purchase.
