I purchased a used boat and trailer and noticed the clips and washers were rusted out. I also found some cracks in the rollers and replaced them too. I kept the boat in the water and replaced all the washers and clips. Piece of mind.
No idea how to use the clips, so after several attempts to affect the install, I gave up and returned them. If you need a special tool to put them in, perhaps instructions for dummies would be helpful. For you, who know what you are doing, ignore me. If you don't know how to install these, then do what I did...used a cotter pin.
